Philippine Navy spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea Rear Admiral Roy Vincent Trinidad said that a Chinese Coast Guard vessel fired a water cannon at a BFAR ship in Scarborough Shoal today.
PCG Spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea Commodore Jay Tarriela said that despite the decision to pull out the BRP Teresa Magbanua from Sabina Shoal, the Philippines has not abandoned its rights in the area.
