Throwback Thursday! Even though Beachy Munchies is new to Yuma, we’re no strangers to the food business.

Four years ago today, we took our food cart out for the very first time.

While we’ve rebranded for Yuma, many elements of The Spicy Tavern will continue.

Does the 321 method for ribs work? I just tested it out on a half rack of ribs I found at the store. For clarity, I actually did a 221 method. Since only a half rack of ribs, I cut an hour out. Next time I’ll do a full rack for the full time. Spoiler alert… they turned out great

Aloha! Today, I tried the 0 to 400 method on my Traeger for chicken wings. They turned out great!

As we continue setting up our business, I wanted to share this sweet moment of my 5-year-old picking out a lei in a Hawaiian shop in San Diego. Moments like these inspire the heart and soul of Beachy Munchies.

It has been hot in Yuma. The kids really want to jump start on the little cart we bought for the business. My 14 year old daughter even offered to get up at 5:30am this morning to do some work to beat the heat. We made notes of what all is needed. Felt good getting going early!

Our son goes to Big Red Barn here in Yuma. Today they were celebrating dads by having donuts with dad there today. Pretty awesome to have donuts with both kids :) #yuma #arizona #dad #prouddad #happyfathersday
