TBS will be open as normal tomorrow, Tuesday 13 Dec 2022.
Students should be on site from 8:30am. The bus companies have confirmed they intend to operate as normal. Please do take extra care when travelling to and from school.
Mrs Hodgson took some of her Food Preparation and Nutrition students to the BBC Good Food Show. They had an amazing time sampling different foods and watching demonstrations.
Year 9s have had a busy week! On Tuesday last week they were taking part in a speech competition and today they are working on an HS2 project where they are designing train stations of the future. They have designed floor plans and are now building tunnels for their trains.

Such a fantastic event for the school. The PTFA ran a beautiful Christmas market which was buzzing with shoppers. We have raised much needed funding for the school and everyone had a lovely time.

We finished collecting for the Operation Christmas Child Charity Appeal today and managed to get 70 boxes!!

Year 8s have been showing how a few simple cheap ingredients can make a family pudding -Fruit Crumble with Year 9s learning the science behind sauce making, nutrition and making a family meal on a budget =Pasta and Vegetable bake.
Students from the clay workshop were present at the grand opening of the mosaic that they helped to create alongside artist @MaudieMilton. This was a project in celebration of the local community during Covid-19. The grand opening was attended by the Mayor and the Town Crier.
Year 9s have been making the most of their personal curriculum lessons, learning practical skills which will help them to develop ideas for future career paths.
