@JohnnyGiunta_ I just don’t understand why Springer fails over and over again with a runner on third and less than two outs. I believe he has 1 sacrifice fly out of ten opportunities so far this season, that’s just not acceptable.
@JohnnyGiunta_ You know if he got moved down and starting hitting people would argue that he should stay in the bottom half of the line up, it’s a no win situation. I agree with Schneider’s approach, leave him alone and he will figure it out, like he has in the past.
@JohnnyGiunta_ It’s ridiculous, why would you not use your closer in the top of the ninth in a tie game? What are you saving him for? There is no chance for a save so you might as well use him to get high leverage outs. It didn’t work out perfectly last night but it’s the correct move.
@JohnnyGiunta_ is it true Springer is 1 for 7 with a runner at 3rd and less than two out with zero sacrifice flys in 2026? That seems almost impossible, why does he struggle so much to hit the ball to the outfield in those situations?
@KeeganMatheson Keegan is it true Springer is 1 for 7 with a runner at 3rd and less than two out with zero sacrifice flys in 2026? That seems almost impossible, why does he struggle so much to hit the ball to the outfield in those situations?
@JaysHardo I would not be surprised at all if Hoffman is suddenly put on the IL, he clearly can never pitch in the ninth inning again. Once the Jays went up 4, I thought for sure Seabold would be coming in, but once Hoffman gave up the 2nd run he should have been pulled
@JohnnyGiunta_ I just don’t understand what Schneider is trying to achieve. It’s so clear Little’s confidence is shot. Send him down already or at least for gods sake stop using him in high leverage spots.
@JohnnyGiunta_@AndrewStoeten I hate that “fans” are routing against Hoffman having success because they want so badly to be right that he sucks. Sitting in the stands when he comes in all you hear is people predicting he’s going to give up the lead and the Jays will lose. How about cheering on our players?
@CasinoJack3@leafguy403@BET99Sportsbook Also, can I ask my what measure are you saying they were bottom barrel last year? They were top ten in almost all offensive categories.
@CasinoJack3@leafguy403@BET99Sportsbook Lol so you judge this years team based on results from players that were on the team in prior years, yeah pretty obvious you don’t know the first thing about baseball. Different players and the young players from last year are progressing.
@CasinoJack3@leafguy403@BET99Sportsbook The As are not bottom-barrel and most experts are predicting them to be a top ten offense. Not saying this series means the Jays have the best rotation by any stretch but I think you’re wrong about how good the As will be this year.
@ShiDavidi Why do Olympic qualifiers come from a tournament that allows players to play for teams they would not be eligible to play for at the Olympics?
@JHughes681@KeeganMatheson Pitching is a toss up? Maybe you should take a closer look at the five starters at the beginning of last season vs what the five starters will be to start this season. Not to mention the bullpen is substantially better.
@JohnnyGiunta_ I am a tax accountant that works with athletes and I’ve spent my whole morning explaining to “experts” that there’s virtually no tax difference for athletes in NY, California or Ontario. So frustrating.
@StevenDyer11@TimAAmor@EddiePresti_ Yes so compare the top tax rate for a non-resident athlete playing games in NY City vs Ontario vs California. They are virtually the same. Your calcs are wrong.
@StevenDyer11@TimAAmor@EddiePresti_ Florida is not a factor in this case, he’s a resident of Florida no matter who he plays for. The correct comparison is how his home games are taxed and Ontario, California and NY have similar tax rates
