@MalcJo@fesshole of course there should be a give and take, and we don't know these people's situation beyond this post. but since we're imagining, imagine decades of your husband not putting effort into things you value because he finds them trivial. is it any wonder women get tired?
@realMKOrts @trevorrtradezz trying to capitalize off someone's announcement of their son passing to spread your fear-mongering anti-vax ideologies is fucking vile
@nametenbooks@BryceStorbakken@DiscussingFilm also, btw, someone doesn't have to report your tweets for them to be removed for violating community guidelines. its an automated system that detects words that may be offensive/rude. if you have a problem with that you can take it up with elon musk lol
@nametenbooks@BryceStorbakken@DiscussingFilm never said they couldn't say slurs! i liked the show even when they did, because once again...its just a stupid tv show. you need to relax lol i promise everything is going to be okay
@MilaLovesJoe "they were just told to go back to class like nothing happened"?? this article from 1986 suggests a different reality. sounds very similar to how schools reacted to the events of 9/11, which many students actually had a direct connection to via family in NY. yall aren't special
@mdcfc22@fesshole and of course married people share/delegate tasks. as long as the person who wrote this does something else to contribute to gift giving (coming up with ideas, helping to buy/make the gifts, etc) then its fine if the wife takes on the role of wrapping bc she values it more
@mdcfc22@fesshole you're right, men and women both use weaponized incompetence to get out of things they don't want to do. wrapping gifts isn't deep just on its own, but it becomes deep when the person you love values something and you choose to not put any effort into it
