I bought @TroubledMonk Pesky Pig 6 pack and will continue to support this local brewery, regardless of an attempted misguided political boycott by some people. Keep focused on supporting our community businesses rather than hurt them through politics.
@ckim44@CityofRedDeer@TaraVeer The answer to your question is yes. The “active” number are those who have been confirmed through testing. Alberta pop 4,428,247 only 527,149 people have been tested. With that stat I am assuming Red Deer testing numbers are low. We need to be proactive not reactive.
@davin2424 That is what I mean when this is not a political issue. Of course individuals can choose to wear a mask but mask wearing is only effective it everyone in the community wears them. It is about protecting one another. Only together can the spread of the virus be flattened.
@CityofRedDeer@TaraVeer Our numbers are low but we cannot afford to have to close down businesses again. The health and welfare of our citizens must take priority over politics. I ask that you reconsider and take the leadership of doing what is scientifically right as the AHS and the UCP will not
@CityofRedDeer@TaraVeer masks are not a political issue but rather a scientific issue. The use of masks reduces the transmission of the virus and the use of masks has been recommended by AHS. The issue seems to be political as AHS and UCP is reluctant to mandate mandatory mask wearing.
@FoodieAndFamily My family and I have your family’s back. We mask up in public not to protect us but to protect others. Thank you for sharing about your husbands condition.
Having to put down my dog Lily in January broke my heart. Adopting a senior dog has been transformational. This fella has been adopted twice in his life but now has his forever home.
