As a woman of science and the parent of a young child I’m really thinking this country is doomed.
Science isn’t make believe. Science just makes everything. We really need to snap out of this trance and start getting pissed that these people want us to die.

teaching just isn’t it anymore. I cannot remember the last time I had a conversation/discussion with students about any topic recently. No one wants to do that anymore. I guess I was just too damn spoiled for my first 7 years…especially years 1-5. I miss that.
Today…a post lab question said “draw conclusions about what you think happened in this lab…” and you know what’s coming next. Yep, she drew a picture for me. It was a good drawing at least.

Last time i checked I’m on the spectrum and I’ve done all of this so, in the meanest terms possible, get fucked there asshole that has no background in science. How insulting to millions of people.

Assignment: create models of mitosis. Cut out the labels, use string and pipe cleaners, and make models and take a picture and turn it in. Simple. Of course I wrote instructions that were very detailed.
Student: can we separate the pages of cut outs?
