When Bezos said that if your failures aren’t getting bigger, you aren’t inventing big enough, it rearranged how I judge my own years. I used to be proud of the ones where nothing went wrong. Now those are the years I worry about, because a clean record usually means I aimed at something small enough to guarantee it.

@Read_Acted @uncledoomer 2/2 - the bill would have been in the thousands. I thought why don’t I just switch to sensodyne.. Besides, the pains not that bad yet and already spent hundreds on a composite fake tooth. Long story short I just didn’t get it done and it’s completely fine now 6 years later.

@Read_Acted @uncledoomer 1/2 - I broke 1 of my front teeth quite badly. 1/3 of the visible tooth remains and was very sensitive. Dentist wiggled a piece of wire into my gums and deemed the tooth dead. He recommended root canal and prosthetic tooth.
