@michelletandler Not from an ethical standpoint, but start with Corrado Gini, an Italian sociologist who studied inequality. His coefficient - the Gini coefficient - is a pretty good predictor of societal instability/collapse. Too much inequality = failed state status.

@GeorgeTakei Many Americans cannot. I know I can't. I have an incredible amount of medical debt due to an autoimmune issue. I - and many other Americans - now get to make even harder choices for food, rent or medicine. I support Ukraine, but you are wrong.
