@TheSlyStallone I think your film was the first to have their post theater video releases captioned, I could be wrong but you did a great thing for the deaf community, at that point they could look forward to actually watch a movie. So thank you for that.

@TheSlyStallone then video release was held up while they were formatted for captioning, Roy was so grateful that for years he used to tell people how he got the Rocky movies captioned. Sadly he passed away over the summer in late July, he was my age (51).

@TheSlyStallone I was just watching your Netflix documentary. Don’t know if you remember. When “Rocky” plus the two sequels came out on VHS, there was no captioning. An old friend of mine from NYC named Roy Weintraub wrote to you I believe, and he asked for the captions.

@valkilmer I was just wondering if you ever considered taking sign language (ASL) lessons. It would be a good backup in case your Somatic fails- your hands could act as your voice, too. I had a deaf friend who had a tracheotomy too and she did use ASL. I’m also deaf and a signer

@PhilRosenthal I saw your Netflix show and loved all your episodes. Now I’m seeing that you’re going to Austin, TX next month. I recommend Crepe Crazy as it is owned and staffed all by deaf people. Austin has a very large deaf community. Wanna learn sign language too?
