🇳🇿 NEW EPISODE! 🇳🇿
Neil Lambess joins Tim to discuss finding 🦁 The Lion 🦁 in 1999, memories of missing episodes on broadcast, and a school screening of The Macra Terror. But what happened to those films? 🦀 🎞️
A fascinating discussion! Shares much appreciated.

Finally, a compilation of censor clips Australia gave to Escape Switch , detailed in the brilliant podcast @drwhopodcasters@themindrobber@Mister__Rhys Funny to hear Tim getting fed up with the Aussies naming The Daleks wrongly. Thanks for watching!
Made a compilation of the censor clips Australia gave to Devil’s Planet, detailed in the brilliant podcast @drwhopodcasters@themindrobber “Terror on faces” was too much for them!
Working backwards from discovery, a compilation of the censor clips Australia gave to Day of Armageddon, detailed in the brilliant podcast @drwhopodcasters@themindrobber@Mister__Rhys. (They had big issues with any body hair it seems, poor Zephon.)
Ok look. I don’t have a well formed position on the war on Iran (though listening to recent @triggerpod eps is proving instructive) but I gotta say that as an Aussie expecting the introduction of fuel rations in coming weeks, Trump’s address sounded a lot like:
“We bombed them. They didn’t like it. The rest of you didn’t come to the party we unilaterally decided to host down the road from you. Sucks to be you I guess 🤷🏼♀️ But us? We doing just fine. In fact we’re great. Never been better. And hey we have lots of that stuff that our bombing has made difficult for you to get but that your society needs to keep going and your people need so they don’t starve . So come and give your money to us. Sound good?”

We reported on the podcast In Oct, but to reiterate:
"We are aware of several collectors – plural – with several episodes of Doctor Who that are missing from the archive – plural – that are in private collections and with former industry professionals."

I was the quizmaster for tonight's quiz for the Doctor Who Central West Local Group in Bathurst tonight. The quiz was on the missing episodes of Doctor Who - why they were lost, how they came back, and what remains of otherwise missing episodes.
@Ally__bee ... I (a GP) have had to reissue scripts because I hadn't noticed that the prescribed brand was now private. I have noticed this with Lasix (furosemide), a common fluid tablet, and Pariet (rabeprazole), a brand of stomach reflux medication. (There are probably others.)
@Ally__bee Just a comment about your article yesterday on medications not being on the PBS. Some brands of medications have previously been approved on the PBS, but have recently dropped off the list (I assume withdrawn by the company) despite other brands remaining on the list.
@archivetvmus71 I'd be interested to know what clips they would have used if William Russell (Ian Chesterton) was available as originally hoped, knowing how many episodes were missing in 1983.
So basically #DoctorWho’s backer walks and there’ll be a gap of 1 year 6 months and 24 days between episodes which is longer than the 1985 hiatus that’s still spoken about to this day. But it’s a win apparently! Spin baby spin.
