Last night we caught an uber from Potts Point-> home and we wanted to pee. Asked driver to stop midway. Went out to do our business, only to realise there was a camera pointing right at us when we were done.
If that was your house, kerekere keep it between us!!
@tinai_loloma One of the struggles i had to endure as a kid was not fitting in. I knew i was different, but one thing i knew i didnt need to do was to try and fit in.
You are enough and loved my G 🫶🏼😘
The Republic of Korea📷 knows what it took to become polio-free. And it has not forgotten.
That experience is now driving Korea’s support for eradication efforts in the countries that need it most. Thank you @ROK_Mission, @MOFAkr_eng this #WorldImmunizationWeek. #EndPolio
@oauhari I also think our politicians need to undergo thorough Media training. Sometimes their adhoc interviews or debates donot translate well with their ideas. This creates ambiguity and misinformation to medias leading to shifting discourses.
Didn’t read the article but good journalism sits on accuracy of reporting while also ensuring respect of privacy of people. Paparazzi reporting doesn’t do well with that.
@oauhari Ahh I see. So doorstep interview is obstructed by the term used “paparazzi style interview”.
From the headline itself what i could understand that shes implicitly saying media institutions in Fiji publishes tabloids instead of news. But then again- havent read it.
Media institutions plays an important role in capturing the truth. It also influences the publics perceptions of the truth- creating nuances or several versions of the “truth”. This makes it hard for politicians or other counterparts to push out healthy policies.
Hi 👋 HIV, I’m writing to you anonymously because I’m so ashamed. I was doing so well for three years – always undetectable and never missing my medication. However, eight months ago I went through a terrible breakup and lost my job. This led to a deep depression and I simply stopped taking my medication. I just didn’t care anymore.
Last week I started feeling very weak and developed a persistent cough. I know I need to return to the clinic but I’m terrified. I’m worried the nurses will scold me for stopping and I’m also concerned I’ve developed resistance, as you always warn about.
I feel like a failure because I knew better but I gave up. Is it too late to start over? Has anyone else ever simply stopped taking their medication because life became too difficult?
Even though people are given the choice to choose between the two, the food truck offers ready to eat meals where individual choices are influenced by availability and convenience. Now what should we do to address growing NCD in situations like this?
Just found out that theres a food truck that set up opposite a fruit and vegetable shop and both located 3 mins away from home. This is a perfect example of how the environment influences health outcomes and how this also a concept of commercial determinants of health.
