OL is one of the two position groups on the entire team that was not addressed in the portal. Coach Cardwell is walking into 2026 with a core he trusts even as captain C Gavin Gerhardt moves on to the NFL.

Development and retention are the keys here as the Cincinnati Bearcats look to be a top OL in the Big 12 again.

Watching the WILD scene in Lawrence tonight with the Jayhawks about to eliminate Arkansas and win the regional, and it makes me believe even more that something similar can happen in Cincinnati.

They have a smaller stadium and added seats for this regional. They lead the Razorbacks 13-7 in T8 in an elimination game.

It can happen here too. We just need more to help make it happen!

I asked Jordan Bischel what his confidence level was in being able to retain his core for next season (Coats, Pitts, Infelise):

"I believe that those guys, um, we want what's best for those guys. That's what I'll say. I want Derek and Quinton and Enzo and every guy in our program to be wherever they're going to be the happiest. I believe they think that's Cincinnati, and I don't think dollar signs are gonna change that for them.

"If there is a place where they can be happier, I will help them get into the portal and get to those places. I think they know that. I think they know how special our program is, and I think those guys will be wearing Cincinnati uniforms next year." #Bearcats
