been getting back into LOTRO and was curious — what type of content do people actually enjoy watching these days?
• Chill questing
• Lore & world exploration
• Class guides/builds
• New player experience
• Endgame/group content
Not promoting anything, just genuinely curious

🚨Streaming Myths Busted: A Thread 🎮
There’s a lot of advice floating around about what it really takes to be a successful streamer. Some of it's solid, but there's a lot of misinformation too. Let's bust some common myths to help you stay on track!
You Need to Stream Every Day to Grow❌ Wrong! Streaming every day can actually burn you out fast. Instead, focus on quality content with a consistent schedule. Stream fewer days, but make those streams count!
It’s All About the Game You Play🎮 Not true. While the game matters, it’s your personality, style, and community engagement that keeps people coming back. Focus on your strengths as a creator, not just the latest trending game.
Success = High Follower Count📊 Nope! Engagement and community loyalty are way more important. A smaller, dedicated fanbase will support you far more than a large but unengaged audience.
You Need Expensive Equipment💰 False! While good audio and decent visuals help, you don’t need top-tier gear to start. Many successful streamers began with basic setups. Focus on content first, then upgrade as you go.
If You’re Not Growing Fast, You’re Failing🚀 Completely wrong. Every streamer grows at a different pace. Streaming is a marathon, not a sprint. Celebrate small wins, and remember that even the biggest names started from zero.
More Hours = More Viewers⏰ Not necessarily. Longer streams don’t always mean more growth. Instead, try shorter, high-energy streams that leave people wanting more. It’s about quality, not quantity.
Raid Big Streamers to Get Noticed👀 Bad move! Raiding significantly larger streamers rarely gets you noticed. Instead, raid channels of similar or slightly larger size where you can actually build relationships and network.
Once You Hit Affiliate, The Hard Work Is Over🏆 No way! Affiliate is just the beginning. The real work starts once you have a small audience keeping them engaged and gradually growing your community is a continuous effort.
You Should Stick to One Game Forever🔄 Not true! While sticking to one game can build a loyal audience, it’s okay to branch out once you have a community that enjoys you as a creator. Just communicate changes clearly to your audience.
More Alerts & Graphics Make the Stream Better🎨 Not necessarily. Overly flashy alerts can actually distract from the content. Keep it clean, and only use effects that enhance the viewing experience, not overwhelm it.
Streaming Is Easy Money💵 Definitely false! Building a successful channel takes time, effort, and strategy. Most creators put in months (or years) of work before seeing substantial financial returns.
If People Aren’t Talking in Chat, They’re Not Interested💬 Nope. Many viewers are “lurkers” who enjoy watching without participating in chat. Don’t assume silence means disinterest interact as if they’re there, and they might chime in eventually!
