Mateta last season scored 8 non-penalty goals to Sesko’s 11, despite starting 14 more matches than Sesko. And Mateta is meant to be in his prime and going into his 7th PL season.

In fact, Mateta’s numbers are as follows:
62 goals and 13 assists in 203 PL appearances. Poor.
