Another thing you have to do is know the purpose of your reading. Knowing exactly why you’re gonna read a book and what you want to extract from it before you pick it, makes a huge difference in the whole process.
Actually, if you really love movies, a good idea may be to read a book that a movie was adapted from. You’ll be surprised at how many blockbuster movies were born as books or even short stories not too long ago.
