@TwBookClub@MorganJamesPub Myrcles moves people by emphasizing the spiritual "I-believe" side of breast cancer recovery. It shows that faith makes people keep going amid senseless diseases.

Myrcles: A True Story of Divine Intervention, Hope and Inspiration by Cathy Alves Davis

@TwBookClub@RichBecker The cast of Born on Monday is minimalist. Wich is good. A small network of characters help me keep track of the mysteries in Augusta. Not sure why there's a mask and a dragonfly on the cover, though. Would they be important in the finale?

"Born on Monday" by Richard R. Becker

@TwBookClub Decoding History tries setting up a person vs dystopia narrative ala The Handmaid's Tale, but the 'pregnancy-case-that-kicks-off-the-plot' thingy is easy to gloss over, and the secret manuscript doesn't evoke tension for all its touted significance about 'universe web'.

"Decoding History: The Invisible Thread" by Ash A. Milton
@TwBookClub Multiverse stories have been trendy lately. Big blockbusters & TV shows do it. It is high time that scifis do it too. Meeting alternate Max-es sounds fun but I wonder what will happen to them at the end, cuz I know big shows tend to discard them. Can't wait to finish Alpha Max!

@TwBookClub Heaven's Embraces is meant to show the grace of faith, but the 'bump-into', 'instant-attraction' thingy that kicks everything off is admittedly a turn-off. But readers who don't mind romance novels that start and end the same way would like this, plus the additional faith touch.
Book of the Day, June 11th – Romance, Rated 5 stars.

@TwBookClub I have never read love poems without much rhyming. Feels a bit freestyle. But they are understandable, though without "open the tear floodgates" moments.

"Aluria" by Tyler Cook

@TwBookClub@tylercook4 Superpowered beings protecting things being a common well-known genre, Jason's journey attempts to stand out by having him start from zero and amass wealth and power needed for his mission. Not sure how big of a role Tessa would have in a batman-type story, though.
@TwBookClub Certainly a different A-B-C book that offers different creatures instead of just ant, cat, dog, elephant, and the common ones. I think capybara works for learning the letter c as they are distinctive and more advanced than "cat".

"A Rhyming Book of Creatures and their Fascinating Features!" by Olga De Sousa
@TwBookClub The book tries its best to explain how to become a stock trader who doesn't lose much, but the formating and the way it explains the psychological aspect stops it from being super recommended compared to deep understanding of markets.

The Small Stock Trader by Mika
@TwBookClub Readers who are drawn to stories about people surviving dysfunctional families and graphic abuse would do well to read Unbroken: Life Outside the Lines. The hook makes people wonder what Adriene went through to attempt to pull the trigger.
