@JasonDi89927728@gotrice2024 The fuel has nothing to do with mechanical wear OUTSIDE the engine. It’s usually other parts that start failing before the engine if you take care of it
@JonDeseve@WorkElizab Those are two different tools. A center punch is sharp, but a nail setter is usually concave or flat so that it doesn’t slip off the head of the nail. Yeah, you might be able to use a center punch to set a nail, but it’s not really the right tool and we’ll damage the head.
@DavidWilso68155@RayMairead It’s clear from the video he knew he had to do this but maybe never done it before. If that’s true, he was probably worried about squeezing too hard.
These are terrible solder joints. The first two are cold joints, the third doesn’t have enough solder in the hole, the fourth one is cold, the fifth I’m not sure because the video cuts, and the sixth has too much solder.
They need to apply heat for longer. The pin should be hot by the time the solder hits it
