Conservatives are calling for an investigation into foreign corporations cashing in on Canadians’ blood.

The Globe and Mail reports that Spanish drugmaker Grifols is selling products made with plasma obtained from Canadian blood donations despite Canadian Blood Services promising that nothing would be sold offshore.

Now we've uncovered that Brookfield Asset Management has been aggressively trying to buy Grifols over the last year.

Carney is personally invested in Brookfield and could personally profit if a takeover goes through.

Canadians’ blood donations should save lives here, not line the pockets of foreign corporations or the Prime Minister.

Conservatives are demanding the Health Committee launch an immediate investigation.
