NCT’s JENO and JAEMIN will star in the drama ‘Wind Up’, which is set to be released next year. It will be available as a short-form drama in the first half of 2026.

‘Wind Up’ is a sports coming-of-age drama depicting the sparkling and pure friendship between two boys: a high school baseball pitcher who can’t throw a strike and the transfer student who volunteers to be his manager. The work is notable for the dynamic relationship between the characters who save each other and a story full of twists.

NCT members JENO and JAEMIN will take on the lead roles in ‘Wind Up’. JENO plays Woojin, a pitcher who was once a prospect, and JAEMIN plays Taehee, a transfer student who appears before Woojin one day, portraying the heartwarming growth story of the two baseball boys.

Expectations are high for the synergy and chemistry that JENO and JAEMIN, who have shown strong teamwork during their NCT activities, will bring to the drama.

‘Wind Up’ wrapped up filming on October 11 and is accelerating its post-production work with the goal of being released in the first half of 2026. Specific scheduling information and the broadcast platform will be announced later.

오는 2026년 상반기 중에 숏드라마로 선보일 계획

'와인드업'은 스트라이크를 던질 수 없는 고교 야구 투수와 그의 매니저를 자처하는 전학생, 두 소년의 반짝이고 순수한 우정을 그리는 스포츠 성장 드라마다. 서로를 구원하는 캐릭터들의 관계성과 반전을 거듭하는 스토리가 돋보이는 작품으로, 넷플릭스 시리즈 '무브 투 헤븐: 나는 유품정리사입니다', KBS2 드라마 '진검승부' 등을 연출한 김성호 감독이 메가폰을 잡는다. 

NCT의 멤버 제노와 재민은 '와인드업'의 주연으로 나선다. 제노는 한때 유망주였던 투수 ‘우진’ 역을, 재민은 어느 날 우진 앞에 나타난 전학생 ‘태희’ 역을 맡아 두 야구 소년의 가슴 뭉클한 성장기를 그린다. NCT로 활동하며 끈끈한 팀워크를 자랑한 제노와 재민이 드라마에서는 어떠한 시너지와 케미스트리를 발산할지 기대를 모은다. 또한 제노, 재민과 함께 베테랑 배우 이���혁이 우진의 고교 야구팀 감독으로, 오현경이 태희의 어머니로 분해 작품에 힘을 보탠다.
