NRG Radio Faces Employee Backlash Over Months of Unpaid Wages
There is uncertainty among employees at Iurban entertainment station NRG Radio as the station reportedly continues to delay salary payments for several months, with some workers claiming they have never received any pay since joining the company.
Several employees, some of whom have worked at the station for years, have expressed frustration over the unpaid wages, stating that management repeatedly assures them that payments will be processed but doesn't honour those commitments.
Workers who inquire about their earnings are reportedly being sent home, raising concerns about whether the company is downsizing or simply avoiding pressure from disgruntled employees seeking their rightful dues.
Staff continue to struggle financially as salary delays persist even as the station maintains its regular programming and online presence, leaving employees questioning how the company continues to operate while failing to meet its payroll obligations.
"Hi Cyprian. I'm writing to you as I'm concerned about how NRG Radio is not paying staff salaries. I have not been paid salary for three months and some of my new colleagues have not been paid from the start. It is getting very hard as leaving the job will leave me looking for another for a year, and I'm confused now about what I should do. The boss keeps saying all of us will get salaries soon, but we never get paid. Also, many of our colleagues were sent home and still haven't got their pay. Today I'm writing to you since we have been told to go home. I don't understand why all of a sudden they have not paid and we go home. While the director lives a lavish life, driving nice cars and living in a big house, we suffer. I don’t know where to complain and where to start. I hope this will show other people how this company treats employees."
Whenever i get stressed about how things are going to work out…i sliently whisper “i am deserving of all the goodness in the world…and i leave it to you God” and guess what….HE doesnt fail me …ever
