The beds have been uncovered. All the beds were mulched and fed during November. The mornings are still far too cold to plant anything. 1st earlies will go in at the end of March.
@RobsAllotment Rob, would you be able to give another retweet for me?
It was a massive help last time for gaining new followers. Big thanks if you can.

A few more photos of the potato patch... Hard work but it's worth it. The allotment was busy today, lots of old faces and a few newbies! #welcome
Ist dig of the ground this year... The potatoes are chitting away nicely. Potatoes will be ready to be planted mid to late March, no more frosts by then!
1st morning down the allotment for a few weeks. It was cold but weeded the winter onions and put the potatoes in trays to chit. Next few weeks we will be springing into life!! #allotment#winter
I saw these in local garden centre this morning. I love Pentland Javelin potatoes, a good all rounder. Maris Pipers for the main crop never fail! A good few weeks before i can start planting spuds. I normally start the 1st weekend after St Patrick's Day.
Over 100 followers in a day! Brilliant and thank you all. I'm looking forward to chatting to everyone as soon as the allotment springs into life! I'd like to say Spring is on its way but sadly there's a good few of cold weather yet.
@linben63@RobsAllotment You should always start with a cuppa, so you can plan what you are going to do.... I put a A culvert at the plot, this was a lot of hard work but has made a massive difference. The plot holds no water regardless of the weather.
A cold, crisp winters day on the #allotment today. Not much to do. The ground is solid so no ground turning just yet. Hoping for @RobsAllotment to give me a like and retweet to gain a few much needed #followers How about it please Rob?
The allotment was completely frozen at 9am today.... A quick ride along the front on the bike. I will try the plot again this afternoon. #allotment#COLD#Liverpool
