My harvest has been terrible this year - either killed by the heat early in the year or eaten by slugs with all this rain 😫 But I managed to get this small haul for tea which makes me happy ☺️🌱🥔 #growyourown #gyo #gardening

@shettlestongrow Literally nothings grown for me this year 🙁 my tomatoes are still green, my cucumbers are all foliage and no flowers, my courgettes have been decimated by slugs 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve given up and decided to just try again next year!!

Has anyone else noticed a worry lack of insects around this year? My garden is pretty wildlife-friendly and it’s usually awash with insects but this year almost nothing except bees 😔 where did all the ladybirds, caterpillars, beetles etc go?! 🐞🐛🪳🪲 #gardening #wildlife
