@lovely_plot @RHSBloom Love this π thank you for sharing, itβs so nice to see the reality and the βfailuresβ as well as the successes. Iβve felt particularly disheartened this year so I really feel like I needed this π
My harvest has been terrible this year - either killed by the heat early in the year or eaten by slugs with all this rain π« But I managed to get this small haul for tea which makes me happy βΊοΈπ±π₯ #growyourown#gyo#gardening
@shettlestongrow Literally nothings grown for me this year π my tomatoes are still green, my cucumbers are all foliage and no flowers, my courgettes have been decimated by slugs π€·π»ββοΈ Iβve given up and decided to just try again next year!!
Does anyone know what kind of shield beetle this little fellow might be? We have a family of them that live on our rhubarb and my son is fascinated! βΊοΈ #gardening#beetles#sheildbug#insects
I also found some wonderful ideas @The_RHS Tatton Park that I can do with my little man to make the garden a fun and inquisitive space for him while still feeling like a calm escape for me πΈπ±π¦π»πΏπΌ #RHSTattonPark#gardeningforkids
We had a wonderful day @The_RHS Tatton Park show today, despite the rainπ§οΈ I particularly fell in love with all the naturalistic planting and have brought some grasses to try and emulate it at home ππΎπΈ #RHSTattonPark#gardening#flowers
I managed to carve out a bit of time today to plant up my veg seedlings π±π±π± Hereβs a little tour of my growing space, itβs not necessarily pretty but it works π

Has anyone else noticed a worry lack of insects around this year? My garden is pretty wildlife-friendly and itβs usually awash with insects but this year almost nothing except bees π where did all the ladybirds, caterpillars, beetles etc go?! πππͺ³πͺ² #gardening#wildlife
@JohnRolandEvan1 Ooh thanks so much for sharing - I was eyeing up your other tweet as it looked delicious and I have some stewed rhubarb I was wondering what to do with. Now I know! ππ
