Living the good lifeπ€
I can't believe I'm writing this because I'm soooo out of my depth and a little bit scared... but the world belongs to the brave, right?!
Say hello! to the new columnist at the GARDEN ANSWERS magazine!π₯³
THANK YOU to the loveliest editorial team for believing in me π #GardeningX
My Hawthorn is just magnificent this year β₯οΈ
One of my favourite gardening decisions I have ever made, was to plant Nelly Moser clematis at the base of this hawthorn and now, every year, they flower together π
Morning π
Finally got back to the plot- lots of work to do still... but getting there π₯° πͺ
Spring is definitely here but wish she could get the memo about the temperatures being a little bit higher! And more sunshine please!
Fantastic weeding and tidying sesh - forgot how much I love itπ
Today felt like a little delicious glimmer after what seemed to be a never ending darkness βΊοΈ
It's 16:55 & it's still light outside!
I'm sitting down, drinking my earl grey tea & do you know what?
Life is goodπ
-18 Β°C, crunchy snow and plenty of beautiful plots to admire π₯° February in Poland π΅π±
I think it's in winter when all the whimsical gates come alive as they're not competing with plants for our attention π
#gardening
Flying to Poland today & spotted something magical outside the windowπ
That glowing halo around the planeβs shadow is called a GLORY.
It happens when sunlight hits tiny water droplets in clouds or mist, creating soft rings of colour that look like a heavenly colourful halo π π
@aaahvacr Don't overthink it too much! The greatest thing about gardening is learning - I thought I killed plants, then moved them and they recovered etc. Also, if you need 2 plants, sow 6! For insurance and to faff with them and experiment
My rescue greenhouse was very ugly when I got it so now it is mine I make sure it's very pretty - it has lots of funky things, including disco ball for all my plants π π
So... I could not resist buying disco strawberry & disco cherries to add even more funk to it! πππ±ππ±π
@aaahvacr I wouldn't say i organise them in any way - i do think of what plants need most heat vs which ones don't mind being a bit lower on the shelves etc. I normally just stary the plants off in the greenhouse and then kick them all out - only grow chillies /aubergines/peppers inside
