जहाँ अपराधियों में विश्वास और आम जनता में भय का माहौल दिखाई देता है।

जी हाँ, ऐसी ही एक घटना इस व्यवस्था पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े करती है।
आरोप है कि पुलिस स्टेशन के SHO के निर्णय के आगे BNS, IPC और यहां तक कि सैन्य नियमों की गरिमा भी नजरअंदाज कर दी गई, जब भारतीय सेना के सेवारत अधिकारी मेजर शैलेंद्र को रातभर थाने की हिरासत में रखा गया और बाद में मजिस्ट्रेट के समक्ष पेश किया गया। यह कार्रवाई कथित रूप से रिश्वत न देने के मामले से जुड़ी बताई जा रही है।
