Liza Soberano shared her time at the 81st United Nations General Assembly in her Instagram. The event took place last Sept. 22, 2026.

Soberano shared her advocacy and the
responsibility of having a platform during the event, 'Voices that Move: In Conversation with Liza Soberano & Pritika Swarup.'

DreamWorks Animations’ Forgotten Island is now the number one movie in the Philippines after five days since its release, according to Universal Pictures Philippines.
The Filipino inspired film follows two best friends, Jo and Raissa, voiced by Academy winner H.E.R. and Liza Soberano, being transported to the mystical island of Nakali, where the longer they remain, the more memories of their friendship they risk losing.

The Philippines lead the international box office for DreamWorks’ ‘Forgotten Island’ as the country surpassed ₱93.5 million ($1.5M USD) at the box office weekend.
Philippines practicing a collective Filipino time by going number 1 just days after the initial reports showed PH was not even in the top 5 😭 #ForgottenIsland
Since FORGOTTEN ISLAND is out now globally, I can finally say I am a Filipino artist who worked on this Filipino-centric animated film. 🩷🩵✨
I worked as one of the Layout Artists in the 2D sequences as seen in these scenes from the trailers and MORE in the movie itself! (1/3)
I went to the 11PM showing and there was only one other seat reserved. The best seat at that. That person didn’t even show up. I was laughing and getting teary eyed in an empty movie theater. This movie is too good to flop, so I hope more people go and see it!
Listen, I love Marvel & the #Avengers too, but you need to assemble the squad to see #ForgottenIsland this weekend.
Don’t let this be the endgame for Filipino representation in mainstream media!
