Take notes.
While some former Blue Eagles were busy defending their brotherhood and a lawyer was busy defending his alma mater, she’s one of the few people actually talking about the families and asking the questions that matter.
Two families lost their sons. Parents are living every parent’s worst nightmare. Yet some people’s first reaction was to protect a school’s image and defend a brotherhood.
That’s exactly what’s wrong.
Nobody was asking you to stop loving Ateneo. Nobody was asking you to abandon your school. People were asking for accountability. People were asking for answers.
The fact that some were more eager to defend institutions than stand with grieving families says more about them than it does about Ateneo.
kapag regularly ka nagco-commute, doon mo talaga makikita how much the Filipino people deserve a government that protects and serves. palaging maging vocal sa mga issues dito sa bansa dahil palaging lumalaban nang patas ang mga Pilipino.
