Dear @elonmusk We, the Wallpaper-Sharing Community on X—a collective of dedicated creators who curate and share high-quality, aesthetic wallpapers and visual art—are writing to you collectively to highlight urgent issues that are severely affecting our visibility and sustainability on the platform. Since the second week of November 2025, our community has experienced a dramatic and ongoing drop in views, impressions, and engagement. Posts from established accounts that previously reached thousands of users now often receive only 100-500 views or fewer. This sudden decline has made it extremely challenging for wallpaper creators—both new and long-standing—to connect with audiences who enjoy and save our content. Image-heavy, positive, and non-controversial posts like ours appear to be receiving significantly reduced distribution in feeds.This visibility crisis is further worsened by challenges with the creator monetization program. After the shift to a Premium-based payout model, earnings have become much lower and less consistent. Due to the sharp fall in impressions, many in our community have been unable to reach payout thresholds in recent cycles, resulting in little to no compensation despite continued effort in creating original content. Our community has long contributed uplifting, creative visuals that users love to discover, save, and share, enhancing the overall X experience. These recent changes have unintentionally made it difficult for visual creators like us to thrive. On behalf of wallpaper-sharing accounts across X, we respectfully request: A review of recent algorithm updates to improve visibility for image-based and aesthetic content. Enhancements to the monetization system, including greater transparency in earnings, resolution of threshold issues tied to impressions, and support for visual creators. We greatly value X as a platform for creativity and expression, and we are committed to continuing our contributions. With your attention to these matters, we are confident our community can recover and help make X an even more vibrant space for diverse content.Thank you for your time and consideration.
