So sad to hear about the passing of Shawn Simpson.
Simmer brightened every room he walked into, brought a “beauty vibe” and genuine cared about people.
I can’t even count the hours I listened to him on TSN1200
We only got to meet in person once but he went out of his way multiple times to help a couple kids trying to find their way in this industry. His generosity will never be forgotten.
Thinking about all his loved ones at this time 💔
Michael Andlauer nailed it in his first message to the #Sens faithful.
“Since the announcement of the successful bid for the team, I have gotten to know the community. This is a true hockey community with deep roots in the sport. Sens fans are passionate, understated and underestimated.
We are the team that plays between two large hockey markets who both believe they are the centre of the hockey universe. I have been the underdog my whole life, and I know we have the team, staff, fans and community to prove them wrong.”
Jake Sanderson on why he chose a long-term deal with Ottawa.
“You just see you see the chemistry in the in the locker room it's something that will be here for a while. And I think we're going to win within the next couple years. We know that. And I want to be here for it.”
Led by captain Brady Tkachuk, the Ottawa Senators players and staff each give Craig Anderson a well-deserved personal farewell, as the former #Sens goaltender is likely to have played his final start in the NHL.
Who's cutting onions?
