Today I leave for Hawaii, where @INDOPACOM Commander Admiral Samuel Paparo and I will co-host a summit for regional leaders and private sector representatives to explore investment opportunities in Pacific Island Countries. I will then make my second visit to those countries 🇹🇴🇫🇯🇼🇸 since I started my job almost a year ago.
Stay tuned for updates as I circumnavigate the globe to promote commercial diplomacy and strengthen partnerships!
@ConnorOnion@RGIII@jasonbenetti@alexalandestoy That was a fun game. Well done to both of you and the crew behind the microphone and cameras.
@RGIII you are a great listen. You answer stupid questions before my wife can ask them. 🤣

Jeffrey Lurie's invested. And as a result, the @Eagles always play with a lead.

Day 13, Kings Across America
Bend, Ore., to Crater Lake National Park to Ashland, Ore.
Not many cooler towns in America than Bend, with a bar- and coffee-shop-filled downtown and a great walking core. Not a single more awe-inspiring sight on this trip so far than Crater Lake, which took our collective breaths away walking up to the edge of the western rim of the 1,953-foot-deep pristine lake for our first glance. When you see the park ranked 15th among America’s 63 national parks in an exhaustive Wall Street Journal study, you think, “Come on. It’s just a lake.” No. No. It just has to be seen to be believed. Beautiful and blue and pure, fed by snowmass and rain only. What a sight to see. In addition, the rim road around the lake is narrow and harrowing, with sheer drops throughout and not many guardrails to be found. I don’t remember ever being scared driving. I was today.
Whew. I needed that pFriem West Coast Pilsner (Hood River, Ore.) when we got to the southern end of Oregon.
Weather: Cloudy, 57 down to 36 at our highest point of Crater Lake
Miles driven: 191
Americana factoid: Traversing the big state of Oregon, we passed the towns of Rhododendron and Zigzag.
