@The__Goomba Outside of the camera, I think it's my favorite 3D Mario. And it's one of the last ones I played. The first was Odyssey. But I prefer how 64 is structured. Some "dated" aspects are features, not bugs: the "simple" level design allowing for a lot of platforming experimentation.

@dark1x There are plenty of games that I thought were irredeemably dated when I was in my 20s that, a decade later, I think are actually extremely good, interesting, favorites even. You grow up, expand your palate, etc.

@dark1x Also, being young doesn't give you some pure Lens of Truth or something. You're subject to your own biases, growing up in whatever time you grew up in.
