@st0yanov@cursor_ai I don’t think it was ever positioned to beat Claud or GPT. From my understanding it was for cost savings, “basic” tasks, planning, and to be somewhat capable of doing g more complex if needed so you don’t burn tokens using opus or the latest GPT.
@Benaskren what kind of people are the right people to advise them in your mind? As Netflix I’d be hesitant to hire an ex fighter because they hardly ever work out.
@Benaskren Netflix has been testing the live event waters for a few years now, hopefully they will pull it off. The difference between them and other orgs is that they have the runway and existing audience to slowly build their mma brand instead of going for broke right away.
@Nadeshot It’s not that easy and really depends on the developer using the ai to generate the software. That said, I’d imagine the iteration of cheating software would be so fast that one day hacks work the next day it’s good again
@therealcliffyb I don't actually know your "skill set" are you a programmer, designer, what? Could you take your skills as a "creator of games" and just make a small indie game that adds little to no stress to your life? Or do you think you would always need a 20 person team?
@therealcliffyb (I hope this doesn't come off as aggressive, because it's not) Do you bias towards developers and publishers because you were (are?) one? If a game is in a bad state, would you criticize the team?
@LewisCTech I go through cycles of profound sadness and understanding. McDonalds has made strides in automation and making things quicker and easier. Does that make them rich? hell ya. Does that make their product good? Hell no. I feel the same will happen with AI.
