Super turnout for a critical care nitric oxide delivery education session hosted by our clinical engineers @Beaumont_Dublin last week, and we were delighted to welcome our engineering colleagues from other Dublin Hospitals too.
Welcome done to our team member, Ruth Bridcut, physicist, for her work with colleagues @BeaumontRadiol1 and for winning this award for promotion of patient safety in imaging.

Congratulations to Beaumont Radiology's Jose Binghay on winning the EFRS patient centred care award. This is a great achievement, well done Jose!
#OnThisDay 1978: Tomorrow's World gave audiences a true world first as Dr Peter Mansfield of the University of Nottingham demonstrated the first full body prototype device for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), allowing us to see inside the human body without the use of X-rays.
We are very proud of the range of initiatives presented by our physicists @Beaumont_Dublin annual quality & patient safety meeting: MRI safety & laser safety online training "RadCentral" our radiation protection one-stop-shop & nuclear medicine optimisation

Well done Jose Binghay, and the Radiation Protection Unit @BeaumontRadiol1, great presentation and poster today @Beaumont_Dublin QPS meeting about e-learning programmes for radiation protection and optimisation in interventional radiology. #HSCPDeliver@TheIAPM@iirrt@WeHSCPs
Today is International Day of Medical Physics, which celebrates the work of medical physicists and marks the birthday of Marie Curie. Medical Physicists play a vital role in the safe diagnosis and treatment of patients using medical exposure to ionising radiation in Ireland.
We had an exciting few days celebrating #GlobalCEDay@Beaumont_Dublin! This year, we had a multi-day education event with an all staff information stand and a dedicated interactive hands-on nursing medical device education session.
