@Ducksallday1@d1baseball@BeaverBaseball A) you don’t know who didn’t want to resched. You don’t know terms for the original game & who asked for what in the makeup. B) the reason this game was cancelled originally is b/c one of our players almost died. So you choosing this battle to fight is classless and Low FICO
@Ducksallday1@d1baseball@BeaverBaseball I don’t know if you can’t read but we don’t cancel games for RPI. That includes cancelling UTRGV to play you guys. We don’t cheat the system like the ducks do
Championship Contenders via PEAR Metrics
Six teams inside the box with more teams starting to get closer to it. I believe the teams in the box will be the top 6 national seeds.
@sccollier@BBQDuck35@gobeavers92 I mean this has to be true, right? Oregon State has won 3 CWS titles in last century. Ducks have been completely irrelevant for this period. So anytime Ducks are ranked ahead of the beavs this statement will be true
@neallyd2@KendallRogers@OregonBaseball@BeaverBaseball I thought that was the change this year though? 3&4 seeds go based on geography, but 1-32 are seeded precisely and slotted as such.
Thought we’d be 17 or 18 seed, and I’d much prefer the WVU or KU regionals than Eugene
@inevitablerich@bigdonkey47 My perception of resume. NC SoS 223 for WVU. Conference SoS helped but looks to me like B12 is 4th best in the country. Looks like committee agrees with me giving those two 15 & 16 seeds. I expect Ark heavy favorites @ KU & WF favorites @ WVU
@LJFORMVP8@KendallRogers@NCAABaseball Yeah I think this was a lesson to all that cancelling games is ok. I believe next year’s P12 should look better for our SoS. Midweeks next year we need better performance and we need to be willing to cancel
@LFLatMSU Agreed. Take the subjectivity out. Hurt my beavs but need something fair to fall back on. Curious if we see cancelling mid-week games get worse next year…
@LJFORMVP8@KendallRogers@NCAABaseball Mid week losses killed us. In the end RPI is what matters. We did enough on the weekends but the midweeks tanked our RPI
@bengilg34@KendallRogers Biased here but seems tough to say no shot for Or St when they are a consensus top 10 in the polls and a higher RPI than WVU and KU
@LARomeo8@KendallRogers Ok but strength of schedule basically says it’s a push between Or St, KU, and WVU. So yes beavs don’t have a power conference affiliation but that didn’t end up hampering SoS
