Today I begin a challenge.
For the next 365 days, I’ll post one reason why @elonmusk should hire me.
Not because I expect a miracle.
Because consistency reveals character.
Every day I’ll learn, build, teach, write or solve something.
If, after 365 days, I haven’t earned a job, I’ll have earned something even more valuable.
Day 1/365 starts today.
Follow the journey.
Reason #7 why @elonmusk should hire me:
Today, I received a rejection from one of the master’s programs I applied to.
It wasn’t because I wasn’t qualified.
The program simply had more qualified applicants than it could admit.
I’m sharing this because I don’t want this journey to be a highlight reel.
Growth includes setbacks.
I’m still studying.
I’m still teaching.
I’m still building.
I’ll apply again. I’ll improve again.
One rejection doesn’t define a career.
Consistency does.
Day 7/365.

Reason #6 why @elonmusk should hire me:
I’m fascinated by the idea that the next breakthrough in energy may begin at the atomic scale.
My research interest is the theoretical study of two-dimensional (2D) materials for energy storage applications.
Using computational methods like Density Functional Theory (DFT), I want to understand how materials such as graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides behave and how they can be optimized for better batteries and supercapacitors.
I know I’m at the beginning of this journey.
But every meaningful contribution starts with curiosity, a clear goal, and the willingness to learn.
Today, I’m studying the theory.
Tomorrow, I hope to contribute to it.

Reason #5 why @elonmusk should hire me:
Today, I wasn’t building anything.
I was thinking.
The world keeps evolving, yet in many ways it also keeps borrowing from the past.
fashion, design, even ideas.
It made me wonder:
If the internet transformed how humanity communicates, what comes after it?
Not a faster internet.
Not better Wi-Fi.
Something fundamentally different.
Every generation believes it has reached the peak of technology… until the next generation proves otherwise.
I don’t just want to use the future.
I want to spend my life thinking about it.
Day 5/365.

Reason #4 why @elonmusk should hire me:
Today I taught my online students Pressure & Density in Fluids.
But I didn’t stop at equations.
We connected a simple physics lesson to rocket engineering.
If a rocket tank has a fixed volume, increasing the density of the fuel increases the fuel mass it can carry.
That’s why physics isn’t just about passing exams.
It’s about understanding how the real world works—and how better engineering decisions are made.
I enjoy turning classroom concepts into real engineering conversations.
Day 4/365.

Reason #3 why @elonmusk should hire me:
I don’t just want to use technology.
I want to understand the physics that makes it possible.
Today I began studying Density Functional Theory (DFT), a foundation for researching advanced materials like graphene and other 2D materials.
My goal is simple: keep learning until I can contribute to technologies that shape the future.
Every expert once opened the first page.
Today was mine.
Day 3/365.

Reason #2 why @elonmusk should hire me:
I believe one of the best ways to understand something is to teach it.
Today I taught semiconductors
The foundation of modern electronics.
From p-n junctions to transistors, every smartphone, computer, and spacecraft depends on these ideas.
Teaching forces me to simplify complex concepts without losing accuracy. That habit doesn’t just make me a better tutor; it makes me a better engineer and problem solver.
Every day I learn.
Every day I teach.
Every day I improve.
Day 2/365.

I get uncomfortable when everyone agrees with me or praises everything I do. If I’m never corrected, how do I grow? Don’t just applaud me
challenge me.
Respectfully criticize me when I’m wrong. Growth lives where honest feedback exists.
Price is what you pay.
Cost is what you sacrifice.
The greatest things in life come with the greatest cost.
And just as economists say higher costs push equilibrium prices upward, life rewards those willing to pay the highest price in discipline, patience, and sacrifice.
I put my whole heart and soul into this project, but "Motide" holds a completely different kind of weight for me.
My album "BarryStar Vol.2" is finally out everywhere.

A ₦1m/month salary can’t realistically buy a ₦50m car in 5 years after living expenses. Forget salary sef we’ve made extraordinary figures feel ordinary.
Some of our parents worked 35 years and never saw ₦50m. So where’s all this online money coming from?
The math no add up.
