Men entering the Love Island space and demanding it cater to them is indicative of an issue in society in general, which is that men have the inability to tolerate a space where they are not the main characters, not catered to nor are the core demographic.
It’s a pretty widely accepted fact that stupid people are happier and less aware of the world around them, so it’s always weird when maga thinks this is a mic drop.
- no one knowing where/what New Hampshire is
- not knowing the term for the male version of “bachelorette”
- wanting to use ChatGPT to write a love letter
- mispronouncing “epitome” as “ep-uh-tohm”
- using “emerged” in place of “immersed”
- mispronouncing “compromise” as “com promise”
Lord these islanders need a tutor in the villa at all times #LoveIslandUSA
well, yes. men do this thing where they make fun of media predominantly viewed by women until it starts dominating pop culture & then get irritated that the media ‘feels biased towards women’ … it is! bc that’s the demographic that’s been keeping it on the air.
Love Island has always been about the female cast that the predominately female audience likes the most + their connections. The men have never been the main characters. That’s not changing because y’all just started watching.
