Ambulances were ramped at Tasmanian hospitals for 31,528 hours from July ‘22 to March ‘23.

That’s equivalent to nearly 5 ambulances ramped around the clock for nine months.

That’s bad for paramedics and ambulance volunteers and bad for patients.

Last night 554 health staff in Tasmania were sent a letter demanding they pay back the COVID allowance that was paid in recognition of their efforts during the pandemic.

The Premier has today defended this disgraceful letter.

Labor has always supported Tassie’s right to have an AFL and AFLW team. Always have. Always will.
