Genuine question because I've seen several tweets about even if I didn't want to, when did the narrative start that it was suddenly bad that Glitch made merch that coincided with their Pilot drops?

They've done this since BEFORE Digital Circus, Murder Drones STILL gets Merch Drops. Every Pilot gets merch to help potentially fund new seasons.

The sudden outburst of "Suddenly they're sellouts for making merch over just a Pilot" is baffling, they've been doing it for YEARS, it's literally a part of their identity and no one cared until recently.
