Guys, the Human Rights Commission made a public claim that hospitals are not overcrowded due to illegal foreigners. As ActionSA in Gauteng, we challenged them to share the data and methodology they used to reach that conclusion.

They have now replied, and their statement is based on records from just 4 to 5 hospitals which were themselves read incorrectly. They also back their claim with a 2015 UCT Law thesis and a few academic studies, most of which rely on surveys rather than actual hospital admission data.

What we reject is how credentials & elite jargon are weaponised to delegitimise our lived experiences. When we speak about illegal immigration, jobs, crime & failing services, we're told we're "not educated enough" & lectured with failed ideologies.
Weaponised PhDs dismissing the daily reality of ordinary citizens won't work anymore. Disagreeing with bad policies isn't anti-education, it's pro-reality.

Zondo commission was extended 8 times. It went for three and half years.

The Madlanga commission is more relevant and more consequential than the Zondo commission. That much is evident.

So there is a strong argument for extending it if they need more time to finish the work.
