I have been seeing some misinformation circulating about the proposed Ithaca City budget, so I want to clarify something. The tax levy for 2024 was $30,690,864. The proposed levy, as amended, is approximately $33,410,000 (pending controller calculations). This is 8.8%, not 25.4%.
