“I want to take a photo of the boys with our new plush from @Kohls Cares,” I say to my husband. Said husband gets out his professional equipment and surprises me with these. 😍 (Sadly our copy of “After the Fall” could not be found for the shoot 😢) @dsantat#plushlove#beekle
@SCC_StCharlesCC Of course these signs were probably purchased months ago when there were actually students and faculty on campus to enjoy them... but to post this the same day you close the child development center and lay-off employees is just poor form. Get your communications straight #SCC.
So...please read the entire thread. Here we go.

I.can’t.even. ❤️ Take 10 minutes and read this. I promise you won’t be sorry (and I say 10 because you will have to wipe your eyes to see through your tears a couple times). Thank you @dsantat for sharing your heart this week. This story is life changing. https://t.co/3XznfqB0GA
Making him earn his keep! If he wants to buy books, he has to do it himself. Ha! He sure thought he was super cool!! He took his job VERY seriously and Miss Jodie watched carefully. His book fair is in two weeks,… https://t.co/hhAPgbUUrO
I dontated a picture book bundle to a silent auction 2night. My husband filling out the bid sheet: “What ages would these be for?” Me: “All ages.” Him: “For real, grade levels?” Me: “Pic books should be read at all ages!” He then asked me to not get all philosophical. 🤣
Thank you to our Scholastic Book Fair Drivers that make book fairs happen for schools across the nation. You are greatly appreciated by the millions of readers you serve. #truckdriverappreciationweek

Spent a wonderful evening w/ the St. Louis Black Authors group. Talk about people who love what they do! So inspiring. I really love this book (and the author is just delightful!)- every school needs it & the message it carries. “ROCK WHAT YOU GOT” @AjaLaStarr#weneeddiversebooks
“My point is I wouldn’t trade anything—not my looks or my life—for Katherine now. I am who I am supposed to be,” she says. “Inside and out. And you are, too. But we become something special because of everything we are, not in spite of it.” ~FAKE Super advice for all @donnacooner
My origin story started in middle school. There were no secret societies, or magical insect that bit me and turned me into a special creature with extraordinary powers. Instead, I slowly morphed into what I am now with every pound gained and every mean comment.~FAKE @donnacooner
