Anorexia recovery = 4kg/ 8.8lbs of water retention in a week
When your legs are so swollen, tight, puffy and it hurts to stand in the mornings.
But I’m not and can not run back- because my physical health was in the gutter and I can’t put myself or family through 2024 again.
Sometimes it’s choosing the next right thing because any intake is better than none.
The stomach pain, bloat and uncomfortableness is awful. Buscopan, peppermint capsules and hot water bottles are touching the recovery belly 😩
Really struggling with having increased my intake- especially carbs- with how I feel physically. My tummy is in bits. Bloat and water retention its just horrible. I want to give up 😭
Last night I had a crumpet with PB and J. First time I’ve had jam in over three years- spiral when I woke up this morning was AWFUL. The guilt/shame was so real.
But… I had breakfast of ready break made with skim milk and raspberries. Even though tummy feels like a ballon 😩
Finding the early stages of ED stabilisation really hard. Feel like I’m toe dipping and running back.
Anyone got any words of wisdom or coping strategies 😩

15 weeks into a horrible eating disorder relapse. Really struggling, both mentally and physically.
Had a difficult appointment yesterday and I just feel so frustrated and sad at the situation 😩.
How have I let this spiral so far… again.

Does anyone else find medical monitoring for your ED triggering? I’ve had it for two and a half years and still find it triggering hearing bloods are normal/ fine after having awful bloods 17 months ago.
Yet I’ve lost 11kg (16% bw) in eight weeks
