A little belated post on Twitter, but Veterans Day should be honored everyday.
Remembering my beloved grandfather, great-grandfather, uncles, relatives, friends, and all those who put their lives at risk to fight for this country. Thank you for your service ❤️ #VeteransDay
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 53 YEARS, THE KNICKS ARE NBA CHAMPIONS 🏆
New York defeats San Antonio 4-1 in the NBA Finals, capturing their third championship in franchise history!
In ancient Persia, a decree was issued to annihilate the Jewish people.
But Queen Esther stood bravely for her people. Haman, the villain behind the plot, was defeated, and the Jews were saved.
More than 2,000 years later, from the same region, new threats arose from the Iranian regime, fueled by the same ancient hatred.
And once again, history turned.
Purim reminds us that Jewish history is not a story of victimhood, but of courage, reversal, and survival.
And once again, the Jewish people rise. 🇮🇱
Today we remember the six million Jews murdered in the Shoah.
Holocaust Remembrance Day is not only about honoring those we lost, but about listening to survivors, carrying their stories forward, and confronting hatred and antisemitism in every form, in every place so “never again” is a promise, not a slogan. Silence is complicity. We must teach the truth and stand up to hate.
May their memories forever be for a blessing.
HERO: Ahmed al Ahmed, 43, tackled one of the terrorists who opened fire at the Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach yesterday.
His actions saved countless lives. Ahmed was shot 4-5 times in the arm. He underwent surgery today and is in critical but stable condition.

I’m horrified by the rise in antisemitism not just in the US but around the globe. It scares me that there doesn’t seem to be a greater sense of urgency to combat it. We have a moral obligation to condemn it & stand by our Jewish loved ones.
As I said on @Morning_Joe, I've already gotten so many calls from Jewish New Yorkers who are concerned. And I'm here to tell you: if you are a Jewish New Yorker, @ADL has your back. We will hold the Mayor-elect and his administration accountable.
To this day, I have not seen someone articulate what October 7 meant for the Jewish people and Israel better than @ChrisCuomo in this 5 min segment.
This was right after he saw raw footage of Hamas mass murdering Israeli children and women with glee. 10/7 deniers are evil.
I’m honored by the endorsement of so many Jewish leaders across the city. Together we will fight for the soul of NY: safe, affordable, inclusive, & just. Let’s get to work.

Mayim Bialik, Gene Simmons, Liev Schreiber, Sharon Osbourne, Debra Messing, Matisyahu, Tracy-Ann Oberman, and over 1,200 other celebrities have signed a powerful letter opposing the boycott of Israeli films.
The letter denounces an attempt to silence Jewish stories and ostracize Israeli filmmakers.
“Israel’s entertainment industry is a vibrant hub of collaboration between Jewish and Palestinian artists and creatives, who work together every single day to tell complex stories that entertain and inform both communities and the world.”
The letter closes with a call we can all applaud:
“If you want peace, call for the immediate release of the remaining hostages. Support filmmakers who create dialogue across communities. Stand against Hamas.”
Thank you to these brave artists!
(Non-Jewish) opera singer Sarah Callinan was hired to sing at a Rosh Hashana service. She witnessed firsthand the level of security now required for Jews to practice their faith safely.
Thank you so much, Sarah, for speaking up. You’re right, this situation is not okay, but your video made it just a little more bearable.
Bill Maher:
“Israel is the Jews’ homeland and Jews have always lived there. You can look it up. It’s in this book called the Bible. Calling Jews colonizers is like calling Native Americans colonizers here. It’s ridiculous.”
He’s 100% correct.
An unforgettable night at the Western Wall: we prayed with one heart for the return of the abductees, the protection of IDF soldiers, peace among the people of Israel - and with overflowing gratitude for the countless good souls who stand with us across the world.
Shanah Tovah to all celebrating Rosh Hashanah.
The Jewish New Year is a time of reflection, renewal, and hope. As families gather to share traditions, we are reminded of the importance of community, faith, and resilience.
Shanah Tovah - means the next year should be a good year. But that doesn't happen on its own. We all need to work to make it better
Sometimes you need to hear the call. The Shofar is meant as a wake-up call. To tell us when we’ve lost focus, to redouble our efforts and focus.
I've heard that call and I know you have
May this year bring health, peace, and prosperity to you and your loved ones, and may we work together to build a New York that is safer, stronger, and more united than ever before.
L'shana tovah u'metukah
To all Jewish communities celebrating Rosh Hashanah across PA, our nation, and the world:
My thoughts are with the hostages, IDF soldiers, and Israel on this sacred time.
Shanah Tovah!
