In honour of Canadian medical school acceptances coming out earlier this month, my favourite piece of advice for incoming med students: Everyone in medical school is smart; what sets people apart is those who are kind.

@stu_neatby Love NPs & PAs but the waits aren’t long because I (emerg doc) can’t see enough people; they’re long because my department is full. The ED is often full of admitted patients because the rest of the hospital is full. Having NPs and PAs in the ED won’t fix the root of the issue.
