@HMRCcustomers I paid my self assessment bill, which I asked for rather than changing my tax code, however my tax code was changed and has this money included in it. What can I do?

[Beccy Riley @beccyriley]

@HMRCcustomers 87 days

[Beccy Riley @beccyriley]

@HMRCcustomers I tried setting up a direct debit through the HMRC website yesterday, however when I went to submit, it took me back to the HMRC log on screen and when I came back in, I was back at the homepage. I don't know if it was set up or not.

[Beccy Riley @beccyriley]

@HMRCcustomers No confirmation and on checking with my bank, they say it might not appear until it is paid and to check with you. There is nothing showing anywhere I can see on my HMRC account. If I pay by debit card, then the direct debit has been set up after all, will it come out twice?

[Beccy Riley @beccyriley]

@HMRCcustomers Yes, I have a bill just come through

[Beccy Riley @beccyriley]

If I make a debit card payment online and it turns out the direct debit did get set up, will I end up paying twice? Or will it know that the balance has been paid before taking it out again?

[Beccy Riley @beccyriley]

@monzousa I would jump in with 2 feet if you do this like in the Uk accounts!!

[Beccy Riley @beccyriley]

@monzousa Hello! Please can you tell me if there’s any accounts where you earn interest with Monzo?

Thanks @coldplay for spending 1,758 minutes with me in 2022. I couldn’t stop listening to My Universe. #SpotifyWrapped https://t.co/b3TBBxQfIq

[Beccy Riley @beccyriley]

@HMRCcustomers Thanks - it took over 45 minutes on hold from the USA, but I got through in the end. I have to do this again in 2-3 weeks to see if they can find it?! PLEASE is there a better way?

[Beccy Riley @beccyriley]

@HMRCcustomers I sent a paper copy of my 21-22 self assessment to you, which you received on 3 October. It’s still not showing up on my online account. How long does it take to update?

[Beccy Riley @beccyriley]

@HMRCcustomers Hi - yes it was sent signed for from the USA. I had a text once it was delivered.

So football might be “coming home” but what does ‘coming home’ mean when you have no home?

Join with us to provide a home, a sense of community and a spiritual ‘dwelling place’ for those who can not come home today.

This must have happened 2 minutes before we left… I saw someone getting CPR as the emergency vehicles arrived.. 😭

NEW: One person has been shot outside Hurricane Harbor in Arlington, police say. It is NOT an active shooter situation but no word yet on suspect. https://t.co/YOuOMb0A2m

Can someone explain the stimulus checks to me? Why does it go to every American and not just those who need it? Genuine question.

[Beccy Riley @beccyriley]

@HeadSurrey We currently live in Texas. We can choose online or in person school. Everyone does the same work via their devices online and some joint zooms.
