🚨 WOW! Team USA stops to PRAY after their 2-0 victory over Australia in the World Cup
America is a Christian nation! 🙏🏻
These patriots are making their country proud on their home turf! 🇺🇸
The World Cup has turned America into a discovery channel for the rest of the world.
And they are not handling it well.
In the best possible way.
Here is what they are discovering:
Free public restrooms. Europeans pay every time.
Free water at every restaurant. Just appears.
Free refills. Coffee. Sodas. Iced tea. Unlimited.
Free chips and salsa before you even order.
Free warm bread with dinner.
Ice in drinks like civilized people.
Air conditioning everywhere. Not a moral debate. A fact.
Parking lots attached to the actual place you are going.
Drive throughs where the food comes to the car while you sit in it.
Ranch dressing by the gallon.
Tex-Mex that cannot be explained only experienced.
Dental care that actually works.
Buccee’s. There are no words for Buccee’s.
Then they found the grocery stores.
Five of them within one mile.
Each one the size of an aircraft hangar.
Burgers. Steaks. Brisket. Ribs. Pulled pork. Lamb. Veal. Every cut of every animal ever domesticated by human civilization available in one refrigerated aisle at ten in the morning on a Tuesday.
The Germans stood in the meat section for forty five minutes.
In silence.
Processing.
They finally understand why we do not have trains.
We have roads wide enough for the cars we actually drive.
Parking lots the size of small European countries.
Airports in every city worth visiting.
Why would we need trains.
The Germans are taking ranch home by the bottle.
The Dutch found queso and briefly lost the ability to speak.
The Japanese are photographing HEB like it is the Louvre.
The Czechs are weeping in West, Texas.
Welcome to America!
The greatest country on earth.
Texas Tech is America’s team. It’s a Main Street university in Middle America made up of mostly kids from working families.
It’s a heartland culture that reflects our nation’s traditional faith and family values. Like our pioneering fathers who braved the harsh elements to settle the Great Plains of West Texas, Red Raiders know how to work, fight, and never quit. They don’t expect anyone to give them anything. They don’t waste time complaining about being underrated or underestimated. They know respect is earned not given. And, they know it’s not about pleasing the crowd or pundits, it’s about giving their best to each other, themselves, and their university.
I’m proud to be a Red Raider. I’m honored to represent @TexasTech in Congress. And, I’m fired up for the country to know more about West Texas - the Food, Fuel, and Fiber (and FOOTBALL!) Capital of the World.
Guns up, Red Raiders…
Let’s go all the way!!
With one year of eligibility remaining, I have decided to enter the transfer portal. I’m excited to see what God has planned for me in this next chapter! Excited to get to work!

Texas Tech fans. Remember how you feel right now. Remember how you felt when we lost the natty vs Virginia. Remember how it felt when we lost to OU after beating tu with the Crabtree catch. Do you know what it feels like? You do! That’s what makes us the best fans on the planet. Regardless of what happens year in and year out, we never quit. We always cheer for our team, the TEXAS TECH RED RAIDERS!! One day we will have our moment to bask. Until then, WRECK EM!
