The whole point of Harvard is that they ARE the 20% (less than) most intelligent students. The ideological diversity statement is dumb - there’s 100s of colleges in the US, go to them. The best of the best are supposed to go to Harvard, Cambridge, Oxford etc.

We need smart people to go and study their specialities because in reality it’s subjects most of us don’t really understand but definitely benefit from and need research into.. maybe if Vance had actually gone down a law career he would be less of a stain on humanity.

@JennyENicholson First of all who do you mean by Europeans? And second of all, everyone over here drinks water - you get it free in every restaurant you go to. I live in London and everyone I know carries around reusable water bottles - we also always drinks water all of the time..
