My cousin had to return to in-person work, got COVID from her boss, and passed away today. She leaves behind 13-year old twin girls, a husband, a mother who will now have to bury her last surviving child, and family who will forever miss her smile. The pandemic is not over.

@luckytran The fed government got rid of Covid leave for employees last Nov right before omicron surge, including in high risk environments, like the bureau of prisons. It’s absolutely negligent, deprived, and cruel. Incarcerated people only get sick by employees exposing them. Not okay 😡
