JUST IN: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has directed border immigration authorities to prevent Victor Malima, a key figure in the Namcor-Enercon corruption scandal, from leaving the country. Malima, who owns Eco Fuels and has held both chairman and managing director positions at Enercon, is wanted for his involvement in the case. Eco Fuels owes N$73 million, and combined with Enercon’s debt, the total outstanding amount to Namcor reaches N$108 million in unpaid fuel costs. ACC spokesperson Josefina Nghituwamata has confirmed that a warrant for Malima's arrest has been issued.
When you laugh at people’s village homes without water, electricity and extravagant buildings, remember that, some people are building from scratch. No handouts or families who are close to resources to loot for them. Please, bare with them who are first degree breadwinners and have a bunch of people who depend on their small salaries but still work in transparency and integrity. Continue flexing, one by one, God will humble you in the presence of those you took away from. We have people dying in hospitals, lack of medical equipments and teaching resources while few individuals mismanage Government money. Even if they walk free, at least we know the source of their wealth within their families, they must all be exposed. This country’s corruption is an insult to the average citizen who works twice as hard but still living below the poverty line. It’s an insult to those who pay tax.💔
@TimesLIVE Perfect strategy, now they cannot sweep it under the carpet or stop it without facing a huge outcry. What bothers me though is the silence of the National Commissioner of Police?

Three Rundu town council employees – Peter Jonah (41), Peter Sikongo (43) and Frieda Johannes (31) – appeared in court yesterday after allegedly being caught red-handed accepting a N$1 000 bribe to illegally reconnect water at a disconnected house.
The operation was part of a police sting conducted at Kings Park, Rundu, on 25 June. The trio, from the council’s technical services department, are accused of allegedly bypassing formal reconnection procedures without employer consent. They face charges under the Anti-Corruption Act for corruptly using their positions for gratification. The accused remain in custody, with the case postponed to 30 June for a bail hearing.
