Yes it was an amazing scene and I’m do glad espn stayed with it. But the best part, at least to me was the open mic on Guzman and hearing him sing by himself in the dugout. It showed the buy in and how genuine it is because the players, and fans for that matter, didn’t just know the chorus or just join arms and sway, they sang it as proud Mountaineers should but has become rare in today’s NIL era. The Universiry couldn’t buy the kind of boost it gave them in that 2 minute window of time.
